We’ve Done What We Can. Now Let’s Take Care of Ourselves

War not only wounds bodies; it wounds minds, slipping into our homes through news headlines, conversations, and social media feeds. These can leave us upset, angry, and exhausted. During the recent Cambodia-Thailand conflict, many people—both in the region and across the diaspora—did what we could: We updated, shared, donated, scrolled, commented, advocated, and tried to make sense of it all. Some may not sleep well at night or feel guilty for not doing much or not knowing more. But all of it reflects that we care. We acted with good intention—for our nation and for one another.

Now that the nations are at a ceasefire, some of us may still carry doubts. The constant thoughts and what-ifs can leave us exhausted and slowly steal our peaceful moments. This is a gentle reminder to return to yourself. Take good........
