I have heard truisms about trust over the years. This one, "moving at the speed of trust," I recently (re)heard from two different business leaders, and both times it was offered as though its meaning were self-evident. But as you watch companies try to implement technology, especially healthcare devices, digital tools, and AI, you realize people are using the exact same phrase to justify entirely different behaviors.
Having studied consumer trust for over three decades, I decided to figure out what this phrase might mean for implementation in healthcare. That is the purpose of this short blog.
