Prioritizing men’s well-being in Pakistan
FROM June 9 to 15, the global community observes International Men’s Health Week to raise awareness about preventable health problems affecting men and to encourage early detection, healthier lifestyles and timely medical care. In Pakistan, where conversations around men’s physical and mental health often remain limited, this observance highlights the urgent need to address health challenges that are frequently overlooked.
Men in Pakistan face a growing burden of non-communicable diseases including hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, obesity and respiratory illnesses.
