The completion of one year since the successful execution of Operation Bunian Ul Marsoos, also remembered as Marka-e-Haq, marks a significant milestone in Pakistan’s contemporary military and strategic history. This defining moment is now commemorated with renewed national spirit, and it would not be out of place to suggest that the month of May, in Pakistan, be celebrated as a period of festivity and national pride, symbolizing unity, resilience, and victory. Led under the dynamic leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the operation is widely re-garded within Pakistan as a demonstration of national resolve, military capability, and strategic clar-ity in the face of regional challenges. At its core, the operation symbolized Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to defending its sovereignty and safeguarding its territorial integrity.

It reflected a highly coordinated effort by the Pakistan Armed Forces, particularly the Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air Force, whose synergy proved critical in achieving operational success. The ability to respond decisively under pressure elevated Pakistan’s standing and reinforced confidence in its defense institutions. At the same time, the outcome of the conflict had a profound psychological impact across the border, where the morale of the Indian nation reportedly declined to one of its lowest ebbs, challenging long-held perceptions of dominance in the region.
