RELIGION is often understood as a collection of beliefs, rituals and sacred traditions passed from one generation to another. Yet beneath these outward expressions lies a far deeper reality. The history of religion is, in essence, the history of human consciousness seeking to understand the Infinite. It is the story of humanity’s gradual awakening to questions that science alone cannot answer: Who are we? Why do we exist? What is the nature of reality? Is there a purpose beyond death? The earliest human beings were primarily concerned with survival. Their lives revolved around finding food, protecting themselves from danger and ensuring the continuation of their families. Yet as the human brain evolved, something remarkable happened. Intelligence gave rise to reflection. Instinct gradually became balanced by reason and reason opened the door to wonder. Humanity began asking not merely how to live, but why life exists at all.

Among all experiences, death became the greatest teacher. The loss of loved ones confronted early humans with a mystery beyond explanation. Dreams, in which the dead appeared alive, together with the rhythms of nature and the vastness of the night sky, nurtured the conviction that visible existence was only one dimension of reality. The unseen gradually became as significant as the seen. Religion was born not simply from fear but........
