Scott Royal had been involved in a confrontation with others, including a woman and her mum, outside an address in Woodcock Road in the north of the city.

Norwich Crown Court heard the 26-year-old "grabbed" and pushed the mum - who is in her 60s - to the floor.

Richard Paterson, prosecuting, said the victim suffered a "serious hip fracture" in the incident which happened after 6.30pm.

Royal, of Shorncliffe Avenue, Norwich, appeared at court on Wednesday (June 24) having admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm on March 7 last........
