Man could stand trial accused of murder of Norwich cyclist later this year
David Morgan was initially charged with attempted murder after cyclist Richard Daniel Smith was hit by the 40-year-old's Mercedes CLA 180 Sport car on Chartwell Road in the city.

But Morgan a former Heartsease High School pupil - appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Monday on a murder charge after Mr Smith died as a result of his injuries on May 11.

Morgan, who wore a grey tracksuit and gold chain in the dock was not asked to formally enter a plea with the Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing (PTPH) adjourned until July 3.
A trial, expected to last 10 days, was formally fixed by Judge Anthony Bate for November 2.
