Unruly anglers blamed for ruining couple's dream of creating a nature reserve

In fact, they say they have been plagued by an invasive species: unruly fishermen.

The couple, who live in London, claim their five-acre woodland near Norwich, Blackwater Carr, is being ruined by anglers who fish along the neighbouring Yare.

They say the fishermen are using their land as an open air toilet and to dump litter while they fish from official Environment Agency plots nearby.

The problems have become so bad that they have put their nature reserve up for sale.
