The Poundland in St Stephens Street has welcomed back customers after a roof collapse covered the path in debris and forced it to close at about 7am on Monday.

Part of the shop's shutter has now been opened but barriers still surround where the debris fell with locals continuing to walk in a busy bus lane to bypass the closed footpath.
