GP surgery serving Norwich's most vulnerable could be set to close

The service, based in Westwick Street, Norwich, looks after those who would otherwise struggle to access care through mainstream GPs - such as homeless people, rough sleepers and sex workers.

It keeps a register of its own patients and is able to provide specialist primary care.

However, documents seen by this newspaper show the future of the surgery is in doubt.

Health bosses are currently setting out a new contract for the service, which will commence from April next year.

And a service specification states the service will no longer register patients - and instead they will be distributed among mainstream........
