Revised plans lodged for major redevelopment of landmark city building
Whitbread, the owner of Premier Inn which is hoping to turn the Nelson Hotel into a new hotel, homes and hundreds of student flats, has now included additional land within its boundary for the project.
In new planning papers, agents for the hospitality giant said officials for Norwich City Council requested the site's boundary be extended to include Baltic Wharf, a short road off Mountergate.
It would offer additional access to the site the company hopes to build.
