The site is said to be the only commercial building on Ardney Rise, near Catton Park.

It was previously used as a business and has a shop downstairs and offices upstairs, but the plans propose to convert it into two homes.

They were lodged by Sue Gomes, who had her first application refused by the council in 2023.
