Theatre halves staff turnover after making 'values-led' switch - saving it thousands

The theatre has been a real living wage employer since 2023, meaning it pays its staff a voluntary higher rate that meets the current cost of living, rather than the national minimum wage.

The real living wage applies to all workers over 18. This year’s rates are £12.60 across the UK, and £13.85 in London, independently calculated and rising annually based on living costs.
