The Delta Weatherman team, led by meteorologist Hemachander, has forecast continued precipitation through May 21, bringing much-needed relief from the recent heatwave conditions.
After weeks of sweltering temperatures, intermittent rains have created a more pleasant atmosphere across most districts of Tamil Nadu. The Regional Meteorological Department has reported significant rainfall activity, particularly in northern and central interior districts including Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, and Tiruvannamalai. These areas have witnessed heavy downpours accompanied by thunder and lightning since yesterday.
