Apple Fitness+ launches in India on Dec 15 price starts at just Rs 149
New Delhi: Apple is set to enter India’s growing digital fitness market this month. The company confirmed that its subscription-based workout and wellness service, Apple Fitness , will launch on December 15. This marks the largest expansion for the platform since its debut around five years ago.
Apple says the idea is to make staying active feel more natural for people who already use its products. Jay Blahnik, Apple’s vice president of Fitness Technologies, said the focus has always been on using the Apple ecosystem so workouts can happen anywhere. From real time metrics popping up on screens to short sessions that fit into busy routines, the service aims to blend into daily life.
With this rollout, users in 49 countries including India will get access to 12 different workout categories. These include strength training, yoga, HIIT, pilates, cycling, dance, kickboxing and guided meditation. Session durations........
