FWICE’s Ashok Dubey urges the FDA to prioritise food hygiene on film and TV sets while asking actors to avoid endorsements that may harm public health.
Mumbai: Amid growing scrutiny of food safety and celebrity endorsements, Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) representative Ashok Dubey has urged the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to make food hygiene on film and television sets its primary focus.
Speaking about the FDA’s priorities, Dubey said, “The main target should be the food going into Film City, where workers, technicians and artists are eating. They should focus on the food being prepared in the kitchens and served on the sets.”
