Dolly Parton has been working 9 To 5 to get this sequel to see the light of day.

The country legend spoke to HuffPost on Wednesday about her new line of frozen foods, and also touched on Jennifer Aniston’s forthcoming remake of the film 9 To 5.

“Jane [Fonda], Lily [Tomlin] and I have been trying for years to try to come up with a ‘9 To 5: Two’ through the years,” Dolly told HuffPost. “It never happened.”

Despite not being able to make a sequel with the three original stars, Dolly said that “in Jennifer’s story, they wanted us to be involved in it somehow” but she’s not sure if that’s happening.

“But I love Jennifer. I think it’ll be a wonderful thing,” she said. “But we have no plans to be in that. But I do wish her the best, because the script I read, I thought, was really good, and a new and different take that really brings the office up to date the way that people live now.”
