A harrowing narration of my dental issue

Recently I went through a harrowing period of dental problem. One of my molars which had a root canal procedure done more than a decade ago started getting pain and had marked tenderness. X Ray showed a degeneration of its root and infection. An attempted extraction after mild antibiotics for 4 days failed because the local anaesthesia injection was ineffective and I could not bear the discomfort. Finally, after 4 more days of very potent antibiotics, it was re-attempted successfully but was not an easy one. The jaw bone had to be cut to facilitate its retrieval. While recouping I was introspecting why do humans get this problem so often while wild animals hardly get it. I could get the answer which I want to share with you, my friends. I know most of us have had dental issues of varying severity. Dental problems are incredibly common; in fact, oral diseases affect nearly 3.7 billion people globally. According to the WHO untreated dental cavities in permanent teeth rank as the single most widespread health condition in the world. The pain ranges from mild discomfort to sharp, stabbing pain triggered by hot, cold, sweet, or acidic substances.
