Come peak hours and one finds all roads full of vehicles. To the extent that a distance normally covered in a few minutes takes almost an hour. That is how Srinagar these days is for those who drive a vehicle. What is more disturbing is that the roads don’t really calm even during non-peak hours. Reasons are many but what has contributed an extra bit is the rush of tourist vehicles.

Earlier tourists would board a passenger vehicle and reach Srinagar. Here they would board a local car and follow their itinerary. As........
