Europe’s Top Destinations For 2026

For its 17th annual list, European Best Destinations recently revealed the top 20 places to travel across Europe this year—and Madrid took the No. 1 spot. The ranking is based on more than 1.3 million votes cast by travelers and considers several factors, including quality of life, sustainable development and year-round cultural offerings. Nicosia, Cyprus was ranked second this year, with Slovenia’s Štajerska region rounding out the top three.

Inside America’s Only Quadruple Five-Star Resort

Only seven resorts in the world have earned a quadruple Five-Star rating from Forbes Travel Guide—meaning that the hotel, spa and restaurants have all been awarded the highest rating—and six of them are in Asia. But the seventh is in the United States. The Boca Raton in South Florida recently received the rare quadruple Five-Star honor for its Beach Club, Yacht Club, Spa Palmera and the Flybridge restaurant. As if that weren’t enough of a reason to pop a Champagne cork there this year, the resort is also celebrating its centennial in 2026.

How To Stay In Karl Lagerfeld’s Former Parisian Office

Paris is full of plenty of chic accommodations, but now you can book a stay in the glamorous space that once served as Karl Lagerfeld’s office. The late designer’s 7th arrondissement workspace has been transformed into a luxurious private residence, Saint-Germain I, that’s now available to rent for short-term stays at about $2,000 a night. The two-bedroom, two bathroom apartment features an array of standout features that honor the Chanel and Fendi creative director’s personal style and glamorous career. The living room features high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling steel bookcases, which include copies of some of the most iconic books in the fashion world. Guests can also request the Karl Itinerary and explore some of Lagerfeld’s favorite spots in the neighborhood.

Among the most appealing perks of a premium credit card is having access to their private lounges at airports. Last month, Capital One opened its new Landing lounge at LaGuardia Airport’s Terminal B in partnership with acclaimed chef José Andrés. The 12,500-square-foot space functions more like a full-service restaurant than a traditional lounge, with guests checking in with a host, settling into terrace or dining room seating, and ordering plated dishes instead of lining up at a buffet. Just remember to catch your flight.
