We shouldn’t be surprised to see new Trump tariffs coming down the pike despite the harm they do to the American economy. The U.S. Supreme Court having disallowed most of Trump’s second-term tariffs, the administration is adopting new ones to replace April’s 10 per cent tariffs on most imports, which expire today.
