Developers behind the regeneration of the former Kings Head Hotel in Bungay have applied to discharge conditions linked to the approved restoration scheme.

East Suffolk Council granted permission last year for the redevelopment of the Grade II listed building and the neighbouring Odd Fellows Hall, ending years of uncertainty over the future of the site.

The latest application seeks the approval of materials required under planning conditions before work can proceed on reinstating part of the former hotel.
