Jake Marrington had been diagnosed with an extremely rare disorder.

His family joined Chris Harvey, mayor of Thetford, and representatives from the British Trust for Ornithology, at the town's Nuns footbridge last Saturday to unveil the plaque.

The family said they had "valued memories" of the area, having spent time there with Jake.
