Morris dancers and Wassail celebrate ten years of community woodland
The woodland project, which began in 2014, included the planting of apple, pear, and plum trees, creating a new wildlife habitat and a living memorial for local men lost in combat.
The first memorial tree, a red oak, was planted in honour of Saddler Sgt John Cremer in November 2014, 100 years after he was killed in action.
The Ryburgh Wildlife Group and the Memorial Hall and Playing Field Committees organised the tenth-anniversary celebration.
