The item was selected by the bishop as a gift to take on a recent visit to Rome.

Mr Wooden, from Kessingland, said he was thrilled that his bowl had been chosen.

“It seems quite unreal but I’m very pleased; the real pleasure comes from knowing that Bishop Graham sees the bowls as good enough to offer as gifts," he said.
