Young people could get job advice boost with new hub launch

East Suffolk has been selected for the next phase of the nationwide rollout following a government funding decision - with Lowestoft a potential location for the new youth hub.

Youth hubs provide personalised support for young people aged 16 to 24, bringing together Jobcentre services with mental health support, housing advice, skills and training opportunities and links to local employers.

The announcement was welcomed by Lowestoft MP Jess Asato, who has long campaigned for its introduction.
