The Met Office yellow alert for wind is to last from 5am to 3pm on Friday as the fifth named storm of the season sweeps across the country.

Winds of up to 53mph are expected to hit Great Yarmouth by 6am.

Storm Eowyn will then batter places such as Norwich, Cromer and Sheringham with 50mph winds by 8am.
