But with work under way to demolish the former Marsh building and develop hundreds of homes at the site there are hopes the pod will be uncovered.

There is just one problem – no one can remember where the capsule was buried.

Marsh moved into Victoria House shortly after it was built in the 1970s and commissioned a local firm to build the time capsule.

Margaret Schofield, who lives in Rackheath, said her husband Roy created the canister for the items........
