Kevin Coxall, from Sprowston, flew to Bangkok with his partner Tina for his friend's 60th birthday on January 6.

Despite feeling fine before flying the 58-year-old quickly fell ill after arriving - suffering sickness and dizziness - and sought advice from local doctors before having a CT scan.

Kevin's devastated family are now hoping that they can afford the thousands of pounds in costs to bring him home.

His son, Jack, has been keeping in touch after receiving the dreaded phone call........
