Warning new online GP consultations could make it harder to see a doctor
From this month, GP surgeries are required to offer online appointment bookings for non-urgent appointments, medication queries and admin requests.
The service has been launched in a bid to improve access to primary care services and help eliminate the 8am rush currently blighting patients and surgeries.
However, senior NHS figures in the region have warned the provision may end up making it tougher for people to see........
