Inspectors slam 'widespread failings' at home care provider

South Norfolk Carers Limited, an organisation which provides care in the home across the county, has been placed into special measures by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

During an assessment carried out between October and November last year, CQC inspectors criticised the services provided by the Brooke-based firm.

They reported "widespread failings" within the organisation which was impacting the care its vulnerable clients received - and downgraded its rating to inadequate.
