'Kind, caring' lecturer died in A47 crash on way to grandchild's birthday party
Jeffrey Holmes, from Gressenhall, was killed on December 28 at Hockering. He was 68.
An inquest into his death opened last week, following which his family have issued a loving tribute to him.
And they revealed that the tragedy unfolded while Mr Holmes, a retired lecturer who taught performing arts at the College of West Anglia in King's Lynn, was driving to the birthday party of one of his grandchildren.
