Great Yarmouth Borough Council says work to revamp the multi-use games area (MUGA) at Southtown Common Recreation Ground, near Harfrey’s roundabout, is almost complete.

The project has added new tarmac surfacing, improved drainage, fresh fencing and backboards, updated line markings and new goal ends for football and basketball.

The markings are designed to improve accessibility and ensure the facilities can be used by a wide range of groups.
