The Farmers, previously known as the Jolly Farmers, in Ormesby St Margaret, ceased trading on New Year's Eve.

Stonegate Group, which owns the venue, confirmed they are recruiting for a new publican to run the business.

It is the latest in a string of establishments owned by the same company to close in the area over the last few months.

In August, the Sun Inn, on Beccles Road in Bradwell, announced it was closing.

The following month, the Kings Arms in Caister shut down with the landlords
