Policymakers, scientists, and industry leaders will gather for the 30:50:50 Agri-Science Summit, hosted by the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Science and Technology in Agriculture (APPGSTA) on November 3.

The event will launch the final report on the group’s "30:50:50 Innovation Agenda" for UK agriculture - a long-term policy framework aiming to increase domestic food production by 30pc by 2050 while reducing agriculture’s environmental footprint by 50pc.

It marks the culmination of 10 months of evidence-gathering from UK farmers, researchers, and agri-science leaders, with responses from more than 100 organisations and individuals set out in the report which highlights the "serious challenges" facing the UK farming sector.
