Water Resources East (WRE) is seeking options to be fed into the next Regional Water Resources Plan, due for publication in 2028.

The group says this year's exceptionally dry spring and summer has reinforced the importance of safeguarding water supplies to serve the needs of sectors ranging from agriculture and the environment to domestic consumers.

WRE is encouraging organisations and individuals to bring forward proposals – large or small - which could play a role in meeting future water needs and improving the resilience of the environment to more........
