The National Farmers' Union (NFU) asked for public nominations for the title to mark the 10th anniversary of Back British Farming Day,

Tim Papworth, a former NFU Norfolk chairman who farms at Felmingham near North Walsham, is one of many farmers across the country to have been given the honour.

He was nominated for his work to teach children about food and farming as an NFU Farmers for Schools ambassador.
