Hugo is a six-year-old poodle and springer spaniel crossbreed and is currently staying at FAITH Animal Rescue Centre in Hickling.

Workers at the centre say Hugo is a "spritely" character and loves fun.

He was returned twice to the charity due to picking up items that he shouldn't have, such as paracetamol boxes, and then guarding them.
