Trump made a strong comeback in the first week of his presidency and fulfilled many of his promises. He pardoned the January 6th victims of Biden’s Department of Justice, left the World Health Organization, and suspended foreign aid. He supported what he termed ‘biblical’ Israeli claims to Palestinian land, withdrew from the Paris Climate Agreement, and declared a “national emergency” related to immigration, which allowed for the potential deployment of U.S. troops to the southern border. Additionally, he canceled travel for refugees, including those previously approved to resettle in the U.S. He recommitted to the death penalty and eliminated all Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility offices, positions, plans, actions, initiatives, and........
