This is one of those stories that truly demonstrates the incompetence of cities languishing under Democratic control. Two weeks ago, Kathy Hochul tried to deceive the citizens of New York by holding a press conference to brag about what she claimed were improved crime numbers on the subway. So, it was enjoyable watching a savvy reporter shut her down by pointing out the real numbers, which are anything but flattering. Since then, on Hochul’s safe subway system, an illegal alien murdered a woman by setting her on fire, and another lunatic attacked and stabbed two people without provocation.

However, this story gets even worse when you learn the background of the man who was busted for the stabbings. His name is Jamar Banks. He’s 52 years old, and he has been arrested 88 times, including this most recent arrest.

Let that sink in. How in the hell is someone who has been arrested 87 times still roaming around in public? That is a catastrophic failure of the system on every front. When he was busted, he was........
