It seems pretty clear that Republicans are expecting former President Donald Trump to lose the election in November and are busy cooking up a phony conspiracy theory to sell the idea that the election was rigged.

Again.

One of Arizona’s own got into the myth-making business recently when Republican U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs put out a press release about a letter he and other Republicans sent to Attorney General Merrick Garland demanding to know if the AG had taken steps to “prosecute non-citizens for illegally voting or registering to vote.”

Biggs added, “Americans should not have to be concerned that their voices will be drowned out by the voices of illegal aliens when electing officials for public office.”

Biggs is right about that. Americans should not be concerned about such a thing. Because it is not happening.

Trump would like you to believe it is, however.
