Democrats have cultivated a base of voters that hate America, which is why the party gets squeamish at any show of patriotism that isn’t soaked in progressive talking points.

A Cygnal poll for America’s semiquincentennial (or, more simply, America’s 250th birthday) asked people the following question: “After 250 years as a nation, do you believe the United States continues to be a force for good in the world?” Most demographics agreed that America was a force for good, spanning across all income levels, locations (rural, suburban, urban), and relationship statuses. Voters who backed President Donald Trump in 2024 were plus 86, and swing voters were plus 25.
