Li, a political operative and tireless fundraiser known for her unparalleled work ethic, had dedicated years of her political life to getting Democrats elected to office. A former congressional candidate, Li had risen in the ranks of the Democratic National Committee, ascending to top positions, including Mid-Atlantic regional chairwoman. She was also previously named to Gov. Josh Shapiro’s (D-PA)Advisory Commission on Asian American and Pacific Islander Affairs.
