Sympathy for councils as Welsh Government have made 'an absolute mess' of 20mph
Wales Online followers have been debating Monmouthshire County Council's recent refusal to reconsider the imposition of the 20mph speed limit across the region.
Despite recognising some well-argued cases, Monmouthshire County Council turned down all propositions for reassessment related to the county's roads. Monmouthshire's governing body wanted to reassure residents that their opinions were taken into account. Out of the 1,500 submissions, only 143 routes appeared to be up for review.
