GLP-1 weight-loss drugs seem miraculous, helping people shed substantial amounts of weight relatively quickly and safely. But they may come with a side effect of speeding up hair loss.

According to a study published in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology, a potential genetic connection exists between the GLP-1 pathway targeted by drugs like Ozempic and Wegovy and male pattern baldness.
