My Chemical Romance will be wrapping up their five-show residency at the historic Hollywood Bowl on October 31, 2026. For their final two shows at the venue, October 30 and 31, the band will screen their new animated short film titled Prelude To The End. The short film coincides with the 20th anniversary deluxe reissue of their 2006 album The Black Parade. This special reissue edition was released on October 23, 2026, and includes six bonus tracks that are rare B-sides and live recordings from 2007.
On October 29, the band released the short animated film, directed by Lauren Tsai. Her studio, Unreal Inc., produced the film, which features brief but interesting cameos. The short film is based on The Dying World, a previous short film by Lauren Tsai created in 2024.
Tsai voices Astrid, a girl who is studying........
