New Delhi: The Delhi Police may have granted permission for the the INDIA bloc’s ‘Chalo Dilli’ rally at the Ramlila Maidan on November 1 to demand the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar, but no permission has been sought for the march from Connaught Place (CP) to the Maidan, Hindustan Times reported.

The report quoted unnamed senior police officials who said, on Friday (October 30), that neither New Delhi nor the central district has been informed of or approached for permission for the march from CP to Ramila........
