New Delhi: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) activist Sheikh Abdul Hafiz, whose father Sheikh Mohammad Mafik was killed by a group of men, one of whom was a member of the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP), on August 15 after Abdul merely called attention to the lack of basic amenities at a local primary school, said he wants a school for poor children as a tribute to his late father.

CJP representatives, led by party spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka, visited Abdul on Sunday (August 16) and assured him that CJP would not rest until they sought compensation for his family. In response, Abdul reportedly said, “I don’t need compensation, but a school for poor children as a tribute to my late father,” according to an X post by CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke.
