How did two separate lives become an “US”?

That question brings us to the finale of our three-part From “ME” to “US” Marriage Renewal Series.

Blog 1, “Ten Days, Ten Traits: Take the Marriage Challenge,” challenged us to recognize the traits that can get in the way of our best “US.”

Blog 2, “What Does OUR Marriage Need More Of? Positivity,” turned the focus to the positive qualities we want more of in our marriage.

What has our journey taught us about our “US”—and what will we do with those lessons now?

None of us arrived at the chuppah as a blank slate. We brought our families of origin, experiences, values, expectations and our own ideas about marriage.

But from the moment we married, something new began.

We started fashioning an “US.”

Two histories became a shared history, and year by year we built a foundation uniquely ours.

Children. Careers. Celebrations. Losses. Financial pressures. Family changes. Ordinary days and unexpected challenges.

Our marriage developed........
