In a shameful display of political cowardice, Vice President J.D. Vance reduced the controversy over Tucker Carlson’s libels against Israel to a mere “difference of opinion.”

That is not leadership. It is evasion.

No one disputes Carlson’s right to criticize Israel. The issue is what happens when criticism crosses the line into rhetoric that traffics in distortions, demonization, and longstanding libels against the Jewish state and its supporters. At........
